The books listed in this section are divided into two categories. First are books that examine the phenomenon of Anti-Americanism generally -- its roots, agendas, varieties, and manifestations. These are followed by books that "respond" to that Anti-Americanism by exploring the traditions and historical developments that have made the United States uniquely great among nations. Attention is also given to the profoundly important contributions that Western civilization as a whole has made to the world.
