Now inactive, Northwest Ethnic Voice (NEV) was a bi-monthly, Oregon-based, leftist newsletter that encouraged people to submit articles about music, food, religion, and politics. Once someone submitted a story or a review which NEV published, he or she received a complimentary subscription.

Decidedly opposed to America's 2003 invasion of Iraq, NEV endorsed a "Call to Action" by the anti-war group International ANSWER, which is closely tied to Ramsey Clark's International Action Center and the Marxist-Leninist Workers World Party. The NEV website also provided links to the websites of a number of anti-Israel groups, including the Palestine Children's Welfare Fund and the Holy Land Trust.
