Reverend Willard Bicket is a founding member of Veterans For Peace (VFP), along with Jerry Genesio, Doug Rawlings, and Ken Perkins. VFP is an official Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) represented at the United Nations. Its founders created the group in July 1985 because they "were disturbed by the militancy of the United States and its violent intervention in the affairs of other nations." Bicket served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
